You can learn so much just by looking into someone's eyes! Iridology is the study or analysis of the iris, or irides, of the eyes. With a specialized magnifying glass or a high quality photo, one can observe the complex fiber structure of the iris. Through observing the colors, patterns, and characteristics of the irides, one can gather more information on an individual’s current state of health as well as an individual’s constitution. The basis for analysis in Iridology is an iris chart or iris map which depicts how each part of the iris correlates with specific body organs or body systems. Furthermore, the study of Iridology notes how these specific patterns, textures, colors, and pigmentations found within the fiber structure of the irides signify areas of bodily strengths and weaknesses as well as inherited and acquired traits. Iridology is not a system of diagnosis but rather a tool used to gain deeper insight into one’s present state of health.

Essential oils are aromatic, volatile liquids distilled from shrubs, flowers, trees, root, bushes, and seeds. Essential oils have been used as medicine for thousands of years, dating back to at least 4500 BC. The wisdom of aromatic essences can be found within the Egyptian, Arabic, African, Chinese, Indian, Greek, and Roman cultures. Historically, essential oils have been used for religious rituals as well as for the treatment of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual illness. Essential oils are an aspect or branch of herbal medicine. Essential oils are potent concentrations of plant constituents which means that they remedy the body, mind, and spirit in ways similar to that of herbs and plants. Like herbs and plants, essential oils raise the vibration of one’s whole being and environment and create the opportunity for an overall increase in life force and vitality.
There are a variety of ways in which essential oils can be used. Some ways may be through direct inhalation, ingestion (medicinal grade only; capsuled, diluted, or in cooking), topical application (massage, warm compresses, cold packs), baths, or by diffusion into the air. Essential oils are not to be confused with vegetable oils such as corn, olive, sunflower, etc. Essential oils are not greasy and do not clog the pores like vegetable oils. Vegetable oils can become oxidized and rancid overtime and are not typically antibacterial. However, most essential oils cannot go rancid and are powerful anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal agents. Essential oils are used to remedy cravings, addictions, depression, anxiety, grief, insomnia, headaches, stress, tension, digestive issues, skin conditions and much more. In my practice, I encourage all participants to integrate the use of essential oils into their daily lives to address any personal symptoms as well as to increase one’s overall vitality and well being.
Flower essences are a very unique and subtle type of medicine. They are often used to remedy mental and behavioral. challenges and imbalances. Flower essences are the energetic imprint of blooming flowers onto water. Blooming flowers can be placed in a bowl of water or some water is place in or on the flower (so the flower does not have to be picked to make the essence). The water with the flowers is left to sit under the light of the sun or the moon. The energy fields and attributes of the flower is imprinted onto the water. The water is later diluted many times rendering an essence for consumption. Flower essences are often used a few drops at a time, under the tongue, as often as every hour. The flower essences are gentle, subtle remedies that have much to offer to those looking to find health and balance naturally.
Vedic Thai Yoga Massage, or Nuad Boran, is best described as assisted yoga massage. Vedic Thai Yoga Massage is a unique and medicinal healing art that is primarily concerned with the flow of prana, or life-force energy, through the energetic channels of the body called meridians, nadis, marmas, and/or Sen lines. Like Yoga, Vedic Thai Yoga Massage addresses physical, mental, and emotional stresses and offers a clearer, more open feeling in the body; increased flexibility; a centered, more balanced breath; a calm, focused mind; and a deep sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.
During a Vedic Thai Yoga Massage, the receiver is fully clothed, laying in a relaxed, passive position either on a massage table or on a Thai massage mat on the floor. The practitioner will move the receiver’s body into a variety of stretches much like yoga while applying flowing, rhythmic compressions along the energetic channels of the body using fingers, palms, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet. After a Vedic Thai Yoga Massage session, clients report feeling a heightened quality of life and a deepened sense of connection with one’s whole Being.
Reflexology is a medicinal and specialized type of bodywork which focuses on the massaging of the hands and feet. Reflexology can be traced back over 4,000 years to the times of the ancient Egyptians. An Egyptian hieroglyph found in what is known as the physicians tomb depicts people massaging the hands and the feet of others, looking much like what we know today as Reflexology. Though we can not be certain of the connection between this ancient art and modern reflexology, it is recorded that people throughout the ages have used different ways of working with the hands and feet to address various types of illness.
Reflexology proposes that a mirrored reflection of the entire body can be found in the feet and hands. A reflexology chart shows how each part of the hand or foot corresponds to specific organs, body parts or systems. Using specific massage techniques and pressures on the hands and feet, specific areas of the body can be addressed, aiding in the healing process. Reflexology is used to address a vast array of symptoms and conditions. After sessions, clients report feelings of peace, clarity and a revitalized sense of well being!
Reiki is a healing art that humans have used all over the world for thousands of years. It is known as energy healing or the laying on of hands. By laying hands on a specific part of the body or chakra center, there is a transfer of universal energy that flows through both the practitioner and receiver. This universal life force energy encourages healing and an overall re-balancing of the body, mind, and spirit.
Access bars is a healing modality that works with 32 energy points on the cranium to help depolarize thoughts feelings and emotions. During a session, a high frequency energy is moved through both, the giver and receiver, and it is this energy that helps to clear any karmic metabolic crystalizations that may be present in the energy lines, or bars of energy, that govern the body, mind, and emotions. These sessions can be very helpful in situations where one may feel “stuck” or have a lack of direction or motivation in life. This treatment is also excellent in helping to clear the symptoms of PTSD, severe depression, bipolar imbalances, and more.
This is an integrated practice involving counseling, reiki, flower essences, essential oils, crystal therapy, flower therapy, and reflexology. This is a two hour session and is recommended as a therapy for at least 4 consecutive weeks. Additional elements involve lifestyle counseling, dietary counseling, and other assignments such as journaling, meditation, and yoga. For more information, please email
