ABOUT MEGAN
Megan is a practitioner of Natural Medicine, Yoga, and Integrative healing Arts with over 20 years of experience. Her areas of focus expand to Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine, Iridology, Yoga, Bodywork, Energy Work and Doula Support.

From a young age, Megan knew she was destined to work in the healing world. But how, exactly, has slowly crafted itself through a myriad of experiences, teachings, and influences that have helped mold Megan into the healer she is today.
Having been born with a dislocated hip, Megan underwent a number of corrective orthopedic surgeries between the ages of 1 and 3 resulting in time spent in a body cast as well as other alignment based orthopedic rehabilitative procedures.
Soon thereafter, around the age of 4, Megan began experiencing frequent migraine headaches. These headaches would last for days or a week at a time often accompanied by gastrointestinal upset. While having been provided with all of the current and up-to-date medical testing and a series of shrugs, it was in her early 20s that she discovered she was gluten intolerant through an elimination diet inspired by her studies and programs at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC.
It was at this same time that Megan discovered Yoga through her studies in the Religion Department of Temple University. Megan fell deeply in love with yogic philosophy which inspired her decision when needing to fulfill a physical education credit. As Megan began to explore and integrate an asana yoga practice into her life, she found that it liberated her from the pain she had been carrying in her body due to past injuries. It became evident that a disciplined yoga and meditation practice would be her best ally in supporting her over health and well being.
Upon college graduation, Megan received bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Religion while also having completed her first 200-hour yoga teacher training and also graduating from the Holistic Health Counselor Program with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Just after college, her studies expanded to Vedic Thai Yoga Massage, Reiki, and other forms of energy work. Longing to go deeper in her studies of holistic healing, Megan attended the School of Natural Medicine in Boulder, CO where she studied Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine, Iridology, Reflexology, Flower Essences, Essential Oils and more. During that time, while under tutelage of her teacher, Megan became a mother which later influenced her decision to become a doula.
After several years of building a private practice, Megan opened her first brick-and-mortar in 2016 in Bryn Mawr, PA. Sunset Moon Wellness Center (is) was a zero-waste plant-based superfoods cafe, movement arts studio, and integrative healing arts center. After 8 wonderful years, the location closed its doors in 2024. Sunset Moon Wellness continues to thrive as Megan carries forward the mission to bring wellness programs and holistic health education to all who desire to learn and heal.
